Re: When was the last time you saw a carded figure out in the wild?

1988 in Blackpool.

I bought three from a guy selling them from a pop-up pasting table on the promenade.

Han Carbonite
Luke Poncho
R2D2 Sensorscope I think was the other one.

Re: Solo: A Star Wars Story Trailer... TONIGHT!!!!

Not getting the hate at all. Think it looks great. Who hates Star Wars more than anyone else? Star Wars fans :( No hate from me, more like indifference really. I watched it, and when it ended I felt nothing really, no excitement, no real interest even though it is Star Wars. I felt the same way abo...

Re: Hoth 2018

In two days I will be heading to Hoth (Finse in Norway) with a few fellow collectors. I'm meeting Gonzalo Diaz in Amsterdam before joining the Fantha Tracks guy in Bergen. Pictures to follow but needless to say I am really excited. Have fun dude, it will be awesome. About 10 years ago I went to Mat...

Looks rubbish, I don't even think I will bother with the cinema unless it gets rave reviews, probably just wait for the Blu-ray.

Re: UK Customs charges

That's strange, could maybe just be a generic message as the package has reached the point where it goes through with other packages from other non-EU countries?, maybe they will just assess that it's from the EU and let it pass through. I was just thinking that myself. It looks like a generic upda...

Re: Shill bidding?

Does ebay push your maximum bid up in increments? IE: if the auction is currently at £100, the other guy has a maximum of £200, and you put on a maximum of £210. Does ebay test the water in increments Like £110 = fail, £120 = fail, £130 = fail etc right up to £210 which would take highest bidder. Be...

Re: Solo: A Star Wars Story Trailer... TONIGHT!!!!

Hmm, I thought this was Rogue Two. Even the music is the same and builds to a crescendo exactly like the Rogue One trailer. Jyn Erso was captured and interrogated "state your name for the record". Han Solo is the same at the end of this teaser "your name?". Sorry, I'm just unabl...
