Re: Oh for goodness sake!!

I love in the description that it says "brown mark on his face", The brown mark IS HIS FACE!!!

When I buy a figure, one of the pre-requisites is usually that it has a face :D

Re: Behold the stupidity of the U grader

Oh dear. I never knew people like this existed until a few weeks ago when I started collecting. Such a shame that someone is prepared to destroy something like that, just because it is not in top condition. It's not even the fact that a loose Anakin is worth less, to me it is the fact that it is sti...

Re: Repairing the Princess

I am doing a graded first 12 run and wanted to use her as part of it (also have Luke and Stormtrooper to use as well). They will be something to pass on to my son eventually, something he can remember me by when I am dust and bones (or sell them if he wants the cash :D ) Anyway, if I repair the figu...

Repairing the Princess

Hi all. The Princess Leia Organa figure I have had since I was a kid is in really good shape. However, when I moved the arms back to take off the cape her body opened up a little bit on both shoulder seams next to her neck. When the arms go back down she can be pressed back together again. It's not ...

Re: When were your golden years?

Re: A Story from 1983 – Now with pictures!

That was great to read. Really took me back to that time.

Return of the Jedi is my favourite after A New Hope, I actually prefer it to Empire Strikes Back.

Re: What annoys you the most in this hobby?

I think at the moment it is the weapon prices. I have just started out and have a few figures that are minus weapons. Original Leia and Luke farm-boy seem to be the worst ,the prices people want for their weapons are absolutely crazy. Thing is the figures are in excellent, almost mint condition and ...

Re: When were your golden years?

I would say 82' to 87'/ 88' or so... I would have been about 5 in 82' but have very few memories from that time really. The main ones I have are from Christmas 83' when I got Slave 1 and Boba Fett, X-wing and Luke jedi Knight, Speeder Bike and Biker Scout and a few other figures. We never had much m...

WTB: Luke Jedi Knight

Hi all. Looking to source a Luke Jedi Knight. This was my favourite figure as a kid, and I would really like this to be one of my first purchases as I am now re-collecting. Looking for as mint as possible loose figure, no paint rubs or damage (must be complete with cape, blaster and saber, preferabl...
