Re: Repro Helmet anyone?

I couldn't tell the difference. Not yet anyway. I think I am still only white belt collector. Well maybe yellow belt. =)

Re: Minty loose set of complete figures

This does look like a sale that could occur on a random FB site. (meant in its worst sense) 1) Seller gets hijacked by a buyer and most likely won't get what he deserves. 2) Rules are deliberate broken to please the few rather that the members. 3) Especially cringeworthy when it is a wholesale colle...

Re: Someone got a good deal Jawa

Wow. Stunning read for me. Thank you for taking the time, once again, to share your experiences. I don’t know what to feel. I guess it as valid an hobby as any to go sharking at eBay. At least they aren’t messing up Mother Nature. But I can’t imagine it being an interesting hobby in the long run unl...

Re: Someone got a good deal Jawa

Honestly someone sits and hit F5 X hours a day?? Can’t be cost effective. And that is without taking the loss of time into consideration

Re: How do you clean figures?

Yep baby wipes without perfumes, and for more sticky things I use a soft makeup sponge. For detail I use extra cotton earwax sticks. I always dry with normal cotton or an usb fan and my soft cotton gloves which serves two fold. No fatty fingers and automatically drying effect. For light I use a pro ...

Re: You try and help some people.......

However lovely (and I love it) Star Wars tracker is a tool not the truth. It is a model that displays the past market not the present. Small details in a MOC can mean a huge difference that you are unaware of. And your “help” might unintentionally lead you to mislead the guy. I do agree there May be...

Re: Have prices peaked? Where are they going?

90 Loose figures are much easier to display than 90 Mocs. So market segment for Mocs is much smaller and their desire is more grounded with solid veteran collectors. Hence the slower price jumps. Loose figures are marred by flippers and investors, who push prices up. Even close to Mocs. Which is ind...

Re: Advice on selling my entire Star Wars Collection

Just start with a handful of pictures of the entire collection which can give us a rough estimate and is not as daunting at first if having to upload photos of 150 figures at once.

Re: Best places and sites to sell my Star Wars Collection

That is my observation too. One thing is sure though there are three major types of demanders. Flippers, investors (long term flippers) and collectors. No matter what will be an interesting follow for me 8)

Re: 3 more movies announced from GoT Writers

GoT is great yeah. But latter seasons suffer in pacing issues and weird character choices, both necessary biproduct from tying a huge number of stories together for closure. geographical distance is no longer a theme in season 5+ If any of you remember the old Steve Jackson and Ian Livingstone books...
