Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 20, 2018, Part 1/2

Is it the original figure from the card ? if yes I can take a picture of the coo for me ? :D Whoops, now the bubble is attached top edge only :( Yes, it's the original figure from the card. Blaster may have been mixed with other similar original blasters in my collection. Here's a pic of his legs, ...

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 20, 2018, Part 1/2

In the teeth/ no teeth variants the whites of the eyes are also painted / unpainted. It seems that the 'no teeth' variant is actually "no white paint".

Are there any examples where the eyes are white but the teeth are unpainted or vice versa?

My only childhood figure that I didn't open - and it's still my only MOC!
Unpunched Trilogo metallic 2-1B.
Another figure where the card image and figure are mirrored.

Apart from combinations of circle/no circle, is it possible some were shipped with legs on backwards? Any known moc like that?

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 12, 2018, Part 2/2

Here are my childhood 8D8s, not my favourite figure but I somehow ended up with two. One has circles both legs and one without a circle left leg only; that non-circle leg tends to bend inwards. Never taken the legs off and not about to try. I only have the cardback (79back), bubble and inner tray fo...

Help with ERG cardback

Can anyone help me to re-associate my Emperor's Royal Guards with their correct cardbacks? I have two ERGs and two cardbacks (good start!), all coming from my childhood collection so I am confident that the figures should pair with the cardbacks. The cardbacks are: Kenner ROTJ65/A and Card 2) Palito...

Here's my loose 2; one white, one grey. I've photographed them side by side so anyone unfamiliar with the colour and accessory differences can see them: Chripy Chripy Cheep Cheep.jpg Awesome and I can see the white one have the correct weapon and hood 8) Pointed Staff, but what's the difference bet...

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 8, 2018, Part 1/2

I totally understand that you regret cutting out the name plate, I would also regret it if it was me. Maybe you can replace the plate from a cut card or damaged card :D You can always glue the tape back on the bubble  My philosophy on these figures is to reassemble without modification, gluin...

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 8, 2018, Part 1/2

Thanks. I always liked it that he was blacked out on this card back; it gave the ewok figures a bit of mystique. I regret cutting out this name plate though. Also, the staff was originally taped to the bubble but the tape has now yellowed and is not reusable.

My childhood Chief Chirpa (and a pencil topper).
I have attempted a restore with it's original staff, card and bubble, and the help of a toploader.
