Re: Palitoy Snaggletooth 20 Back AFA 80

Snaggletooth was deemed as one of the easier 20 backs to obtain but now it has to be respected as one that dosen't surface very often at all! Not as popular as a Greedo or Power Droid or a couple of the others fair enough. One surfaced on the bay a little while ago and was snapped up at bout £600 I ...

Re: Latest Acquisitions

I've not picked up any Palitoy MOC for ages,it must be nearly a year since I managed to get hold of anything. Finally managed to track a couple of very nice 41 backs down, and I'm well chuffed with them. I have not even seen a 41 back Bossk before so this must be rather rare http://i913.photobucket....

Re: How much for a Graded or 85/90 VCJawa?

I picked up a mint example at Mem a year or so ago for £250 and sent it to AFA, it came back an 85 grade :D

It wouldn't suprise me if I got £650 for it on the Bay now with AFA loon's around!

Yeh have a good look around for a clean ungraded example and send it away yourself.

Re: Palitoy 12 & 20 Back AFA Valuations

All are Palitoy: Han Solo (Small Head) 12 Back - AFA 80 R2-D2 12 Back - AFA 85 C-3PO 12 Back - AFA 85 Jawa 12 Back - AFA 85 D...

Re: Palitoy 12 & 20 Back AFA Valuations

Bare in mind that Han has only ever been found on an A card including the rare Large head example and Jawa and Death Squad Commander have only ever been found on B cards! Some 12s are very hard to find on A cards ie Luke, Chewie, Ben, Leia, Vader and Stormie and generally one tends to find more exam...

Re: How has your collecting developed?

Like most I had the toys as a kid (v early 80s), mum used to buy me one figure a week when I went shopping with her on Sat mornings. Didn't have anywhere near everything, just about 35 figures and the only vehicals/playsets I had were the Snowspeeder, the AT-AT(my most fond Christmas memory) Jabba t...
