Re: I have an original Hans Solo Carbonite figure from the movie set,

What he states is correct though. This was issued in 1997 by Illusive concepts. They also did an amazing Vader bust with Seb Shaw head. They were a big deal at the time, I will have to get the catalogue out sometime as it also has prices for POTF2 toys. £150 Han and Tauntaun etc...... use to read it...

Re: i believe that R1 will be a future cult classic

I know this is Wikipedia- but they state "A cult film, also commonly referred to as a cult classic, is a film with a cult following, obscure or unpopular with mainstream audiences, and often revolutionary or ironically enjoyed." So a lot of films, particularly Gremlins which is often put o...

Re: i believe that R1 will be a future cult classic

Bad Taste Man eats Dog Hard Boiled Meet the Feebles The Room Plan 9 from Out of Space. Those kind of film I would count as cult. A film that was no embraced on its initial launch, but was discovered later my niche filmafiles. Rogue One was the highest grossing film in the US of 2016, crossed the $1 ...

Picked this one up today. I have sold him twice and regretted it. Definitely one of the greatest Star Wars figs. Need to get a loose one now.

Re: Solo: A Star Wars Story Solo SPOILERS New Trailer & TV Spot!

Yeah- but by putting someone as foe doesn't stop the conversation being derailed by obvious troll account.. You could just ban them. If they have 200 posts and they break down as: 1 post- That Vader baggie is rare 199 posts- Star Wars is fucking rubbish Then perhaps Spock Potter would be better off ...

Re: Modern MOC 'investing'

Another quick thought though- I have POTF2 Freeze Frame figures with £25 and £30 stickers. If you look at Model Mart, there are figure listings where POTF2 was going for more than ROTJ and Trilogo. There was such an appitite for new figures as well as flipping. Its hard for collectors who weren't en...

Re: Modern MOC 'investing'

I love the POTF2 to EP1 range. The prices have risen slightly in the last 10 years, as in they have gone from 'Cant give them away' to £5-£10. I much prefer these to Droids or Ewoks or a vintage figure which is £100s extra because it has slightly duller paint application in its groin. The 1990...
