Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 52, 2018, Part 2/2

Thanks, Ian. Your set looks pretty nice too. Perhaps it's just the photo, but your box doesn't look that bad; some rubbing on the edges, but it's nice and square... or is there a gaping hole in the back? Your set itself does look very clean and in great condition, plus you have a booklet th...

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 52, 2018, Part 2/2

Great post Jeremy and I'll second all that you said as I also had one on it's release as a child and this without a doubt was my most played with toy I ever owned. I remember when it finally fell to bits with overuse and thrown out and it was something that I needed to get once again when started c...

I'll second a meet up in Bristol but it's best to go with the majority and I'm sure we'll make our way to Bristol at some point. :D

Re: Top Loader Fix

If you get rid of the outside trim, it might fit into a case. That's what I was thinking of looking at although there's not much material to play with as the front and back of the Top Loader may well separate if I start cutting into the edge of it. I'll take a look though but they will display fine...

Re: Latest Modern Acquisitions

No updates from The Entertainer today as not visited, but finds on my recce were: AT-DT Walker (£16.99) and Rahtar (£9.99) were from TK-Maxx. They also had Chewbacca figures but no others from Solo line. TLJ figures were £3 ea from Oldrids and K-2SO was £2 from Poundland. Great round up and I did s...

Re: Top Loader Fix

Great rescue job and has stopped the bubbles coming off totally. Did you buy these like this or has this occurred over time on display? They were both bought like this so I picked them up for a good price and now they're nice and secure. I've seen bubble fails on both of these characters so there m...

Top Loader Fix

Hi All, I had a spare moment this morning so thought I'd put in a little work on a couple of my mocs. Both mocs have bubble fails on one side and the top but the figures have never been removed. I didn't want to glue the seal on either of these as you would be able to see it and for the fact that th...

Good Palitoy 30 back price.

This looks like a good deal a buyer won before Christmas - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vintage-Star-Wars-Palitoy-Rebel-Soldier-30a-UKG-90-90-90-Stunning-Mint-/264070065261?hash=item3d7bcd6c6d%3Ag%3A08EAAOSwlgFbjWYc&nma=true&si=9EJ%252B5RIqW%252FQ5wq5kxKaRHYdTzHs%253D&orig_cvip=true&no...

Re: Cadera News recce

Off to a city on a modern collectors recce tomorrow. Hitting TK Maxx, The Entertainer, Home Bargains, Poundland and anywhere else there might a sniff of modern figures and vehicles. Will of course bring you news but are there any pick ups required if spotted. Call me selfless but I have priority if...

Re: Merry Christmas

Happy christmas team SWF.UK! :D Well a nice day was had here and the kids seemed very happy with their Santa gifts, he even managed to find some Star Wars for them (bless him!). It was a different sort of year for me with returning to the UK and I'm looking forward to seeing what comes my way in 19....
