Re: A little help please

So it sounds like your doing the right thing here if your going to monetise the valuable figure s and do what you say with the funds and keep the rest for your lad.

I would suggest with a little bit of research, you can pop the valuable pieces on eBay and see how things go, and keep the rest.

Stick around bud, and you will get to know like minded collectors, you will learn and gain an insight into Vintage SW collecting you won't get from anywhere else! There are SW trackers which give you a benchmark on prices, but to be fair you will get a feel for prices the more you immerse yourself i...

Re: How does collecting compare to a year ago?

The variant thing is certainly on the wane IMO. Not sure why that is but prices have reached a plateau and in some cases dropped. I'm finding the Palitoy Collectors page really busy ATM, with loads of new members join in recent weeks - think we're at 1300 now. And as Poncho says, the Beyond The Toy...

Re: How does collecting compare to a year ago?

My SW fix has always been this forum since joining. I don't do FB or any social media whatsoever. I occasionally purchase from eBay, but most of my purchases are on here from trusted members. Prices on baggies seem to have taken a hike which is a bummer! I have noticed some of the items I look at on...

Your post in itself indicates that have noticed a change in yourself, analysed it and taken what you feel are the necessary steps for you to feel right about what you are spending. In a nutshell you are exercising responsibility and using common sense. These are of course the factors we should all u...
