Re: Repro carded figure with repro AFA sticker - SCARY!!

:o No shiny AFA foil sticker on side of case which is a giveaway. Don't see the point in this at all the effort the seller has put into it is not worth what he's going to get. Would be better of picking spuds for a living.

Re: AFA Loose Figure cases missing corners

The corners missing on AFA cases is perfectly normal I had I full set of loose figures graded about 4 years ago and they all have corners missing at the bottom. Also Toygrader don't glue the back bottom of cases to allow airflow incase any moisture is trapped in the case causing condensation. Hope t...

Re: Biggest stitch up down the years

I bought a VC jawa a good few years ago for around £5 and realised it was a repro cape and gun straight away. It displayed well but didn't really want to keep it in my collection. It looked pretty like an original so I just sold it to an unwitting upstart for £120 a few weeks later. I had a bloody ...

Biggest stitch up down the years

Ok I'm new to this forum, but have been collecting vintage Star Wars for many years and have some great memories of great finds down the years. But I did get stitched up once badly many years ago. I found this shop not far from where I lived that had some vintage stuff. I brought all the stuff I wan...

Re: Spontaneous MOC bubble cracking

I display my MOC's like this to help take the pressure of the bubble not sure if it helps at all but helps me sleep better. Still thinking of takeing 12 backs down and storeing them flat. Perhaps in some acrylic draws like a mechanic's tool cabinet. So you can pull them out when you want a loo...

Re: Spontaneous MOC bubble cracking

I've been wandering lately how long a MOC will last. I mean in 200 or however many years surely most will have deterioted so badly the only thing left will be the figure? I don't no maybe they will last 1000 years. As for your Power Droid sorry to hear that. I think the two main factors in det...
