Re: Han Bespin reseal?

The guns not a giveaway, I’ve seen Mocs with figures holding weapons. It doesn’t look quite right though. It’s Palitoy and the bubble looks a little too large, strangely sealed and positioned to me. Could be a Toni. But I’m no expert, someone will set you straight.

Why is it a lame comment?? He is merely stating that they are sought after items that would do well at auction.

Re: Full MOC run

As money is tight, it's made so much more sense to me to focus on the stuff that I really want- stuff that totally has that nostalgia. This is kind of where I’m at too mate. Moved to a bigger house, had another child and have had some health problems. I don’t have the spare income I used to have bu...

Re: Full MOC run

I think anyone who starts collecting Mocs will have the thought cross their mind about getting all the figures carded or some sort of completed run. It’s human nature, collector mentality. But not everyone is the completist. It’s not easy, especially on their film cards let alone debut cards. I star...

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 27, 2018, Part 2/2

I had this as a kid, great little toy. I don't have one, but I'm after one to go with my Tripod Laser Cannon and Vehicle Maintenance Energizer.

Re: unknown guest and tradesman

My main cabinet is in the corner of my lounge so if anyones coming round at all who I don’t know I put a big blanket over the front, covers the whole thing. I don’t want people knowing it’s in my house. Anyone else I know and trust, wife’s friends etc it’s fine, I like them seeing it. And if someone...

Re: Gentle giant retro - what’s the vintage collector view?

Not my cup of tea, I think they look shite. The figure and bubbles too big - not in scale with the card, the logo's too small and looks weird to the side. It's just all wrong to my eyes and way overpriced

Re: Massive Lot of Star Wars Figures etc for Sale

I think I will just use Ebay. Its a bit complicated for me ..... sorry! If you really have no attachment or love for this collection and you just want to get rid of it I would split it up into a few separate auctions, say - all the figures together, a few lots of small ships, the AT-AT’s together e...

Tell me about it! Always on the look out but as you say not many about. Still, I don’t think it makes them worth silly money.

That sounds like a lot. I got a really nice bare one not so long ago for 20 quid. Need to find the snake and stick. Not planning on spending 240 pounds on them!? :o
