Re: A Toy Toni question

It's another with an authentic 03 bubble. There is still some debate over these Spot on there mate. The debate about the 03 bubble was exactly why the seller refused to take it back. Other forum members said the 03 was the reason it was a TT and the seller said it's not a TT due to the 03 bubble If...

Re: A Toy Toni question

I'd probably have let it go but the simple fact is I over paid and that made it hard to move on as I did not want to lose too much :-)

Re: A Toy Toni question

This thred brings back bad memories. I got caught on a TT Obi Wan via EBay ( well it's assumed to be a TT ) and the battle to retun the fcuking thing was one of if not the most stressful EBay debates I've ever had. These days with the returns policy being more robust you have more chance but back th...

Re: 70s/80s Toy Shops

GW Hurley in Burnham-on-Sea (still there) Get in there to the cellar/backroom/loft  Remember that shop well. Lived in Somerset for a couple of years as a kid ( age 8-10 1984-86 ) loved the book section and going there on a Saturday with my Brother ! ! Also remember Burnham being closed a lot !...

Re: Does anyone regularly use UKG ?

Your likely to be fine with UKG. But there is always that very slim prospect of something going wrong in the postal processs. I think most of us would say just buy your own acrylic case and look after it at home and don't take that risk. At the end of the day if you ever sell a serious colllector wi...

Re: Anthony Tipton - izzyblue

One of the first people I traded with on the forum ! He was a really straight up and nice guy and I am truely sorry to read that he passed away. And at 49 it's just a bit ridiculous !

Re: Would you get a signature on a MOC, do you think the signature should reduce the MOC's overall grade?

I'd never get one signed. But I have purchased one that is signed ( Lando Skiff - Billy Dee Williams ) and I love it much more than a plain Unsigned MOC - and I have a few Lando's ! Ultimately it's going to be up to the individual. Like all things when you sell it, the buyer is going to pick holes.....

Re: Modern wanted thread

WTB - Rogue One MOC or Loose Director Krennic 3.75" Baze Malbus 3.75" Chirrut Imwe 3.75" Thanks in advance for any offers. I think Baze is only available in a double pack with a Stormtrooper at the moment, not sure if it's out in this country yet. My local Sainsburys had Krennic and ...
