Re: moc values

The cat's priceless :D As for the others, well Chewie is always popular on a Trilogo and an AFA80 should help it. The squiggle not so much, although I have a soft spot for signed cards (so please let me know when you're selling it). I'd guess somewhere around £280-£300? Luke Poncho is easier. Whilst...

Re: THE VINTAGE REBELLION : Episode 48 LIVE

The unpainted knee fett can not be found on this card but the “light blue fett “ can Excellent info, many thanks indeed. So, by "light blue Fett" you mean the Trilogo Fett or simply the Taiwan Fett? You'll have to bear with me here, I still don't know which of the TL Fetts are rare/desira...

Re: THE VINTAGE REBELLION : Episode 48 LIVE

Edd, fair play to you. And I stand corrected on the price. It didn't even show up as a "or best offer" when I looked at it as I am now well versed with your handy hint of using the ebay.com.au site to check best price :) I do think it's still a sizeable amount for a Palitoy 65 back Fett bu...

Re: What do you do when collecting gets boring?

Unless you really need the money, don't sell up. Over the last 20 years I've lost the collecting bug several times, each time I've sold up, feeling it was the right thing to do. Fast forward a year and the bug is back, only now I have to start from scratch - and as we all know prices rise at an ast...

Re: do ebay have a big problem ?

They include a link to the item you’re looking for in the word ‘listing’ - I suspect it’s there way to try and get more sales. I suspect your right, typical eBay. Jared has suggest that we let eBay know our feelings about this “upgrade”! He has also pointed out that you can still view the original ...

Thanks for that I really appreciate it. :D That quote makes me look like the most unhelpful person ever  That was secretly my intention the whole time. Sorry about that fixed it so it doesn’t sound so bad. Gee, thanks  When I first saw it I thought it sounded a little negative even ...

Re: do ebay have a big problem ?

eBay have been pissing about with this for ages depending on your browser, I believe. But yes, it does appear they have now switched to full blown twattery and now when you share a link they simply redirect you to a "similar" auction that's still live.

Re: Pali 65 back Han Hoth

Chris, not unusual for the Palitoy twin stems to have a small crack around the stems. Dependent upon the size of the crack and it's position (likely to get worse) I'd say you could get nearer £100-£110 for him. That load at Gildings were all doing about £160 a piece. I've had one sat on ebay for a f...

Re: Is Kenner worth more than Palitoy?

I think the prices of Kenner stuff has risen a lot over the last couple of years, where as Palitoy was high to start with but hasn't really moved. A lot of the logo Palitoy stuff hasn't changed much in a decade, I watched a few items end on eBay last night that went surprisingly low. There’s a lot ...

Re: Thrawn hunting

Still never seen a Thrawn or even a Stormtrooper in B&M or HB. In fact, the last two B&Ms I’ve been in only sold saw Hotwheels. It must be a southern thing. I’d love to know what the most south a Thrawn has been seen!

Re: Potf2 valuation

On the whole, not much. Problem is although they’re about £4-£7 each, typically, you have to take into account postage at £3, so now need to charge £7-£10 each and that can be a hard sell. Your Freeze Frame Slave Leia is easily £12-15 and your ERG is easily £10-£12. I’ve been selling green carded Sl...

Re: Price sticker removal.....growing in popularity??

Unfortunately the whole thing comes down to maximising value, if an item is worth more without a price sticker then off it comes, very similar to U Grading I guess! ... Or buying the item because you actually get some pleasure out of having it?! Quite agree. Not everyone’s in it for the money...
