Re: Fake Leia Pistol

I like though how the seller is saying a couple of the weapons did not get graded because they weren't recognised by UKG, and that he believes they are genuine and then saying "other people think" they could be genuine Kenner weapons that didn't make it to the production line ( which is a ...

Re: An amazing TV spot from ABC news, November 30th 1978.

When I left school, I ad a summer job before heading off to do A'Levels working for Bluebird Toys... I was on the Big Red Fun Bus line (they also made the Big Yellow Teapot), my job was the same as the woman 16 seconds in, but my screwdriver hanging from the ceiling was to screw the spare wheel doo...

Re: An amazing TV spot from ABC news, November 30th 1978.

I bet those workers look at Star Wars toys in a different way. Probably some sort of post traumatic stress disorder kicks in. Those are the sort of jobs that just look like slavery. There's one woman on there who really looks like she's dead inside. The best part about doing jobs like this is home ...

Re: An amazing TV spot from ABC news, November 30th 1978.

"I think it could be another Disney in 50 years from now"...... it IS Disney haha  how weird is that?! Also those poor, poor workers, iv'e worked on plastic automated production/packing lines before years ago and they're fucking horrible. You can't do anything to halt the line you nee...

Re: Acrylic vintage blaster display

I didn't say folk couldn't do it. Stuff like this will create yet another thing to collect and fill. It's hard enough to find am imperial gunner gun or pop up sabre without someone needing a spare one to feed their fascination of putting things in acrylic. Isn't this what 'collecting' is all about?...

Re: Acrylic vintage blaster display

@Bonsai_Tree_Ent - Haha yes I did get a little upset when I set all the blasters on and looked at the empty Endor blaster space. @Mini99 - They look cool, I love the helmet display too. @Robstyley - I was actually wondering of a way to be able to have them fixed on in a non-permanent way to be able ...

Acrylic vintage blaster display

Just sharing my little creation, I was always obsessed and fascinated with the blasters when I was a kid, and I still love them just as much today so decided to recently start off a blaster collection. This is a cut to order piece of acrylic with polished edges, and iv'e printed out little sticky la...

Re: Craig Stevens Packing

Iv'e always found scrunched up pages of newspaper has done me the best over the years, when all the voids in the box are completely filled up with it it has the most impact absorption because the paper squashes in a lot, much more compared to bubble wrap, but obviously bubble wrap is very good too a...
