The AFA newsletter today said you save on the cost of posting submissions. I guess their regular fees apply after that and they ship the stuff back to the US for grading at their own cost.

The avarage sell rate on star wars is a lot higher than that on ebay. I presume they've done some search on all sales with r2-d2 in the title to come up with that statistic.

That would be the definitive palitoy MOC Holy Grail if one were found. There was a vinyl caped jawa palitoy 12 back that got sold for 6 grand a few years back, though some poeple have cast doubt on wether it's genuine.
