Re: Han Solo movie: what do you think?

I’m really looking forward to the Solo film, I’m thinking the stand alone films are aimed more for our generation. Rogue 1 was certainly more towards what I am looking for in a new Star Wars film, so fingers crossed. I hope Jabba, Boba Fett and the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsec’s all happen in t...

Re: Did potf mocs make it to uk shelves ?

I got Anakin on Trilogo, still got the card back. I didn’t do any mail orders for vintage Star Wars. I remember doing one for Thundercats and Mumrar, as that was the only way to get him.

Yeah wouldn’t sell it any cheaper than £60, debut card. Very nice find at a market, how much did you pay? :)

Re: Did potf mocs make it to uk shelves ?

I never saw any POTF only Trilogo, never saw most of the last 17 on Trilogo either. Although my friend had more of the last 17 than me I’m pretty sure his were off Trilogo cards as well. I wouldn’t like to say either way, although I alwAys presumed POTF cards did make it to the UK as a lot of the Ke...

Re: When did you.......

Probably about 10 years ago when I moved into my own place and realised what a random load of stuff I had and not just Star Wars. I still had all my toys from childhood He-Man, Ghostbusters, Thundercats and small amount of Transformers. I sold everything that wasn’t Star Wars and put the money towar...

Re: The Last Jedi - **SPOILERS THREAD**

So the blue glowing stuff around Yoda is not CGI? I know it’s a puppet which I don’t have a problem with it’s the fact he doesn’t look like a force ghost which annoyed me. Probably going for another view this week so it doesn’t bother me that much.

Re: Rogue One to New Hope

The explanation is in from a certain point of view, first story, written by Gary whitta. The engines have been damaged on the tantive so it’s emitting some chemical or displaces hyperspace differently...basically the imperials use that to track it Doesn’t matter the Resistance are really suprised t...

Re: The Last Jedi - **SPOILERS THREAD**

I love this scene as well- especially those weird ring wraith dudes with glowing purple eyes 8) Peeky- yoda was a puppet again... exact replica of the old one apparently. Come on the glowing stuff around Yoda which is minimised in certain scenes and basically discarded so Yoda doesn’t even look lik...

Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 1, 2018, Part 2/2

No problem, a pleasure. Nice SW 20 backs there, I really like the Boba offer on these cards. I have never seen a card stripped of all the red pigment before, I assume sunlight did this? Yeah love the 20 backs with the Boba Fett offer, would like to get the first 12 on those cards as well one day. Y...

Re: Rogue One to New Hope

Long answer: In ESB one of the Imperial Commanders says "no ship that small has a cloaking device" so maybe the larger cruisers (like we see in TLJ) had protection which meant they couldn't previously be tracked through hyperspace. The Tantive IV that Leia is on is quite small so maybe th...
