Re: Latest Modern Acquisitions

I only went in to TRU today for the four Rogue one 3.75" figures, but decided to buy all seven. I think the packaging art looks great for this range. Also got one of the trade boxes which are excellent to store them in.

Re: Rouge one toy releases - Force Friday September 30

Got all excited today my local asda had Rogue one figures on the self, but was gutted when at the till they would not sell them as it was a nightshift mistake. Thought for one second I was going to get away with them early.

Hi
Amazon are selling both Ackbar and Plutt for £14 each.
I think that is the best price you will get.

Re: Latest Modern Acquisitions

I have been having a look at the locations of the buyers on eBay of different TFA figures and have come to the conclusion that I think there are more or less the same quantities of figures made but they are not distributed equally around the world. There are figures like Ackbar and Plutt who are lik...

Re: Latest Modern Acquisitions

I have never seen Ackbar in the shops. It's a right pain to find, it's was the same for plutt figure. I was lucky and found them in a Toys R Us in Florida on my Summer Hols.

Re: Palitoy Employees Vectis Auction - Details Up

I managed to get my first 12 back since I started collecting again. I bagged a Kenner Chewbacca for £160 ,which I did not think was bad even with a split at the bottom of the stem ,which does not bother me. I have always loved this card and have never got over selling an AFA 85 one back in 2006.

Re: My bowl of shame...

I agree I would rather have a figure with nothing than a repo. The repo weapons I have unfortunately obtain have been given to my 4 yr old to use with her beaters. After I have etched an R on to them.

Re: Anyone ever open a MoC ?

I have never opened a moc but I have removed a gun from one which the figure had fallen out of due to a cracked bubble. I have been meaning to send them to UKgrader and have it placed in a case, figure and its card side by side.

The Palitoy catalogues from the early 1980's in the Last Beech auction look great as well.

Re: So how'd Vectis go for everyone this time round?

There was not loads that caught my eye within my budget, but I did pick up a special buy ROTJ AT ST in what looks like an excellent box (only missing the insert) for £40 plus fees. I thought the price was fair.
