Watch out for this guy - Andrew Paul Lachance

Hello again. Ive been lurking for a while but this thread is just bizarre. I must comment. Maybe there should be a list. I know there's the dodgy dealers section but perhaps this merits a complete mad bastards list?

    Starting Collection

Wasn't from Mumbo was it    He loves to give away a freebie :D Dunno, the DNA test has yet to be returned. It was very black if that helps. The figure really was in excellent condition, so I left positive feedback...anyway..I think I'll just go wash my hands again.

    Starting Collection

Alright mate, I'm pretty new as well. I've started collecting loose figures, got nine now off eBay. I reckon 90% of the weapons from there are fakes. Often figures have paint rubs and tiny marks that don't show up on photographs. I also received a free pubic hair with a Jedi knight Luke I...

Best modern example of Luke?? Opinions sought.

Cool pics, really helpful db94. I'm gonna go look for that Dagobah landing version of Luke now. It's funny..now I want em all. I knew this site would be trouble.

Best modern example of Luke?? Opinions sought.

Vintage collection Bespin Luke. Yep he looks pretty good, decent face sculpt too. I think the Bespin fatigues aren't as iconic as the pilot gear though. He's going on the maybe list. Hopefully the black series will have a Jedi Knight Luke at some point.

Best modern example of Luke?? Opinions sought.

I'm interested in getting a modern Luke figure. I don't know much about the modern toys lines. I have the POTF2 Rebel Pilot and Hoth gear Luke but I hate them cos he looks like a twat. So apart from the original vintage Jedi Knight Luke which kicks serious ass, what do people think is the...

A Change of Star Wars Heart....?

Well Lobot and Lando had what can be described as a special relationship. They could communicate with just a furtive glance after all. Shocking  Can't believe I missed that, I bet Lobot hated Nien Nunb     Well I suppose Lobot had his reasons for staying...

A Change of Star Wars Heart....?

Yep 4-LOM I had him as a kid and didn't know who he was. Which is understandable as he looks nothing like his screen counterpart. I thought he might be a shitty version of the Sand People. Now I think hes cool, he's a pretty snappy dresser with that cream overcoat. What a pimp.

Edd's Vintage Star Wars Video Games

That's an awesome collection. Those snes Starwars are what got me back into Starwars. I love old game systems, tear some down respray em build arcade controls. Was totally into Mame. But after working in the games industry it kind of put me off games for a while. Never played Rebel Assault but...

    Should imperial blasters bend?

I don't get how money changes hands here. I do want to buy from collectors rather than eBay. The stuff I've seen on here it just so much better. Do you just browse the for sale section?

First moc figure, now how do I look after it?

I would rather buy items from other collectors. I don't trust sellers on ebay. I mean who is that seller who says he's from Spain? always seems to be dodgy Del Boy stuff. How does buying and selling work on here? How are transactions done? using paypal I imagine. I've only ever used it on ebay...

List the posts you want moved to this section in this thread

I'm new to forums in general im trying to learn the lingo and rules. So I chanced to click on this thread and I followed the repo weapons link and the photo one. As a new collector that sort of thing is exactly what I want to know about. If stuff/threads like that could be collected into an...

Vintage Star Wars compulsion, please help!

I'm now in way too deep to turn back. I've bought a tooth brush not for cleaning teeth but for cleaning loose figures. Well that's Sunday afternoon sorted, it's bath time for Chewie.

First moc figure, now how do I look after it?

Thanks guys, Darksith lord It's Klaatu. I bought him on eBay on an impulse. Palitoy i think. Prob paid over the odds at £30 for something with visible wear but I'm so wary of getting a fake that I thought I get something that definately looked old. I wanted to get familiar with what the cards...
