Thanks as always for another show. Bob sounds like a lovely guy and it was a pleasure listening to him.

    Jabba disassembly?

When I was a kid, I could force my Jabba's head round with a bit of force that I knew it was not meant to do that. I don't mean to say that he is that supple in 2021 though.

As reminded by your good self, I got my singing story a bit wrong. Of course it was Artoo singing in robotic words that LFL ruled out. However, the routine here never made it to air, perhaps because our little friend's one note singing was crap.

Thanks for a great show and indeed a great year of shows. As an ill customer who had to sheild a lot in 2020, your hard work was appreciated more than ever. Sweet goodness, your show is great. Your Craig Miller interview prompted me to dig out my copy of the Sesame Street raw footage which I...

The item you've had the longest in your collection ?

This die-cast Falcon will be exactly 40 years old on 25th December. I keep this one childhood thing from my few childhood survivors, the absolute oldest, in my display. What a piece of junk!

    Millennium Falcon Instructions

Ah I hadn't noticed that, thanks. Now I know that my ESB box with the SW scene is the same one I had as a kid. Which makes me happy. :D

    Millennium Falcon Instructions

Seeing as ESB branded boxes still carried SW branded instructions, I wonder if one goes with SW and another with ESB.

Thanks again men. I loved the comics discussion. I'll never forget the morning in 1986 when I picked up my waffer-thin comic, only to read that it was the last issue. No countdown, no fanfare, just a notice that Star Wars will continue to run in another comic but below Zoids on the bill. Zoids...

Thanks as always for helping me pass a day's housework but now I've discovered the excellent Youtube version, I don't think much work will be going on. It's great to see the actual stuff. The effort is appreciated. I'll be checking out Generation Skywalker soon too.

Share your childhood vintage toy repairs

Saddened/ in-a-strop that I'd torn my Vader cape at the arm-hole, my dad traced and cut out a new one onto the plastic faux-leathery slip cover that his calculator came in. He hole-punched arm holes. It certainly lasted, just shy of 40 years I reckon. With material like that, he'd make 4LOM's...

43 year s late, I spot a joke in ANH.

I had a copy of ESB copied by my brother's friend who had, now make sure you're all sitting down for this, two video machines in 1985. He must have accidentally hit a button for it to record to broadcast TV during the operation because, for a few seconds, an Indian snake charmer appeared doing...

Thanks for your work in getting these to us even in down time. Especially in down time. Regarding the readalong 7" records, they did turn up here. A non collecting friend of mine has his childhood copies in his record collection. I was surprised to see such things as I only remember the red...

Thankyou. You make hours of chores go by in a flash. Also. What's in that Thermos Hughie? Pea and ham. Pea and ham, from a chicken?! Now that's clever. ( maybe that's a regional thing )

What's the one vintage SW item you wished you had as a kid but never got?

The Pali Death Star. I'm just old enough to have seen it on cardbacks and inserts that were still in the shops but not the toy itself.

Space efficient (and cheaper) alternative to Star Cases

I actually use them for display: I don't have hi-end MOCS and I think they look nicer than star cases despite not being as strong. I long for a shallow star case too though as they can straighten a really warped card. These things are nice.
