Great stuff from everyone, but I've been looking forward to this post the most (I knew it was coming after a PM from Simon). Holy hell dude, that FKS box is a hell of a score, well done! And the 2000AD stuff is super cool too, I'm only gutted I was too late for the sale of Prog 333. Sticker...

Did you used to like putting the wrong figure in a vehicle?

The first figures and ships I had were Chewbacca, Sandpeople and the X-Wing (for my birthday). So to fly the X-Wing Chewie was appointed, but I discovered that you can't actually shut the canopy because he's too tall. But for the few months until Christmas, he was my only choice. Drafty!

Bought one of these stickers myself a few months ago, I remember having these everywhere when I was a kid. Might buy some more now :-)

Just saw this, sorry for the late reply! No actually the comic freebie came at the beginning of this year with only 1 pack, which was sadly not sealed by the time it arrived. The others came later in a total stroke of luck.

Thanks guys! I know, I've been looking for years just for one. It was actually seven but the seal is so bad on these things that one came loose in the post. I'm scared to touch them now :-) Lovely stuff in this thread everyone, always great to see quality items like these. And that Palioty...

Cracking stuff! I haven't posted on here for ages as this year has been a bit dry, but here's what I have managed over the last few months - a couple of low quality but sealed Palitoy 12 backs for 85 quid each ( diecasts still count, right?), and some ROTJ Panini goodness. The Topps versions are...

Vintage SW is still affordable - £50 or less MOCs latest acquisitions

Not the most interesting figure, but a debut Palitoy for only 43 quid. Plus a bubble variant I'd been looking out for since I confirmed its existence on a very helpful forum ;-) http://www.starwarsforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=21778&p=296797&hilit=rebel+commando+palitoy#p296797

Vintage UK Toy Adverts 1979 to 1981

These are fantastic, many thanks! Damn fine quality too, considering their age - great job!

The Star Wars market and leaving the EU

For me this is a killer. I'm English but I have lived in the Netherlands for the last 16 years, and my focus is Palitoy debut MOCs. These are of course mostly located in the UK. I've got about 50 so far, but after the easy and lucky deals, things start to get really expensive. I've backed off...

    Star Wars Annuals

I remember that the novellisation actually came out quite a while before the film did, so maybe that's why so many of us had it. I went to see a fairly early showing of ROTJ in Leicester Square (June 83 I think, although maybe later), but I had already read the book beforehand, so knew the whole...

    your first figures pics

Here we go - shocking quality thanks to my old 110 cartrdge camera, but all still accounted for today!

    Biggest 'collecting' regret.

Many years ago now (I think about 2004/2005) I was bidding on a fantastic Palitoy 20 Back Luke X Wing that the seller had unwisely decided to end on a Tuesday lunchtime. The starting bid was 100 quid, and 15 minutes before the end I got a notification email at work that I had been outbid, just...

    Old Star Wars Headboard.

Those stickers are the bomb! I remember having Princess Leia, Han and Obi Wan back in the day. Sorry to hijack the thread, but do you know how easy they are to find?

    Your holy grail

Mine's not that rare, just too bloody expensive - a 12 back Palitoy Chewbacca. Thought I'd lucked out a few years ago and got myself a "shop damaged" one for only 250 quid, but it tunrned out more to be "shop resealed". The seller claimed it had never left the bubble, which could well be true...

    Rancor keeper offer

You mentioned Anakin too, was he available? The others like Fett, Dengar, Emperor, Ackbar, Nien Nunb and Rancor Keeper I remember being UK mail-ins, but not him.

Why was Grand Moff Tarkin excluded from the original run?

We had a kid like that at our school, swore blind he had a remote controlled AT-AT - now that would hve been cool. I also thought LXW's visor was hair at first.
