Glad you like her Rob. Been a while since I posted up here, so there’s a few bits from the last couple of months. All were bargains (maybe not Leia Bespin, but it was a bundle deal so you take the rough with the smooth!) and have come from eBay (Dengar), Aston’s (DSD), Vectis (3PO), Echo Live (LXW) and Steve in Toy Planet, Wantage (the rest). Not a single FB purchase.....gosh, I wonder why.... I’ve been after a DSD on Trilogo since about 1936, and this one was given away at Aston’s last month. The TFP replaces a regretful sale nearly two years ago that’s been impossible to replace at sensible money. Next this pair. Dengar was following a great tip off from Carl (cheers mate) and a genuine rarity, even in this condition. I’m not collecting 45A backs due to the spiralling cost, but it would have been daft to say no. The LXW is really nice if not a little squashed. The 45B card back is a thing of underappreciated beauty. Finally, these four. I’ve not been drawn in to paying daft money for 3PO on Trilogo based on the fact he’s common as muck. This came in pence under £100 and still hurt my sense of value, but he is nice! The other three are from Steve at Toy Planet. At last an IG-88, which has proved surprisingly elusive. Luke Jedi is another one that’s overpriced but this one was sensible, especially given its amazing condition. Next I’d like to buy a Trilogo ERG for under £300 and i’ll Be one happy camper :D
