I have seen a Toltoys VCJ for sale and would like to seek your opinion. I'm sure that it is genuine (Isn't it)

I would say you want to wait for Wrighty or Nick_IOW to comment although there are likely plenty of others with Jawa knowledge - not me though unfortunately other than being able to say with the groups this has been posted on someone would have called fake by now if there were an issue

It's not fake , however I think it's priced too high , however it's the rarest VCJ , if it was a great price would have been sold by now !!

I saw this on FB and was initially very tempted but I recently got one too. The price is below £1k before Brexit and over £1k after Brexit, I would say with the tear maybe £700-800 mark. This is a much rarer version of the VCJ and people don't give it enough credit. There was another thread that talks about condition of items and I feel people can get too bog down with condition. There was another FB post of a VCJ for sale with a tear around arm holes for less than $550 with a few price drops and no takers and a mint one at $1500 get snatched up within minutes, what does that tell you. Poncho had a great example a few year ago when he got a VCJ with dirty and torn cape and he cleaned it up really well and it displays great for a fraction of the price. If your budget is infinite then of course get the best but we all compromise and if this doesn't sell at that price, the price might be negotiable and it could be a good buy to someone after a Toltoys VCJ.
