keep the faith john, i had 3 carded figures in a row 1 with shattered bubble , 1 a blatent recard and the other looked as if it had been run over. :(
then other times you can get a vc jawa for less than a tenner :D
some you win some you lose
the only alternatives are dealing with the dodgy characters on this forum
or sky high prices with dealers

Give it one day and you'll be back.

If you cannot return the figures just sell them and you may make some money.

This is one of the reasons i went down the AFA route, at least you know what you are getting; i was trying for a lose collection but was finding unless i struck it lucky i would have to get three or four of the same item to find one that was presentable.

that's exactly what put me off. the first loose figure i bought was described as c9.5 from a reputable seller, with a decent photo. it turned up with loose limbs and paint wear on the back

I agree with Inzaman,AFA are more expensive but you know you are getting the real deal.
Just completed my collection of the 21 Star Wars figures all AFA graded MOC.
I will post a photo sometime,they look cool. :D

thats why i have started trying to get battered carded figs to make a mint loose collection
only trouble is i can never bring my self to take them of the cards
think i will just make enough of a hole to remove them then save the cards

i've got some cards that have had that done to them. if done well it's not too obvious, so at a later date youcould always display as carded figures.
