This guy contacted me via email, said he wanted Star Wars advice.

He sent me several photos - even a MOC Yak.. Imagine how excited I got.

But then I began to smell a rat... So I checked him out and he's been messing with people on Rebel Scum. I'm sure some of you have heard of him.

I know this guy and he is mega rich, he owns my chituhr and one of the vlixs i owned, hes got a few droid/ewok unproduced figures too, think he was going to donate a yak face to debers funds too.

dont know what tactics he uses though.

Also goes by the name Jason /Glen Bateman. (Perth Western Australia) He is a very odd character I exchanged dozens of emails with him. Including him sending a picture of the clearest bubbled POTF Anakin & Yak I've ever seen ( clearly reproductions ) he claimed he bought them in the 80s- a ****ing lie. He has got some rare items but I wouldn't buy/trade from him without extreme caution.

Most of those ewoks/droids are custom pieces. The Vlix's he doesn't own anymore and no he wasn't going to donate a Yak Face. He thought that thread was a joke and didn't believe one single bit she got her collection stolen. From what I have heard he will broadcast that he has these great pieces and talks about selling them but ends up never selling anything. He just brags about what he has and never provides clear current pictures. I know of one recent deal he did with Aussie James...or was it Nick :?

The thread of messages was mental - but I have to admit the first moment I saw that unpunched Yakface with crazy clear bubble I freaked. Then the rational cynicism engaged and I smelt a rat.

Wow I've seen Drew posting a lot on RS and always saw him as a pretty low key guy. Didn't see that old thread on RS where he was accused of being shady and this other stuff all seems pretty bizarre. You learn something every day I guess. Him working as a male escort is, while being a bit of a laugh, completely irrelevant to his SW or forum activities. Then again his fault for being so silly as to post his personal email address on a public forum.

He got a nice looking Yak Face from Aussie Nick in trade for a Boushh sample carded MOC so he has at least one thats genuine.

As for the UDEs the Chituhr and Mon Julpa are legit. The Vlix is Glasslite and all the others are customs.

The problem is this guy has some rare genuine stuff mixed up with some custom stuff that he tries to pass off as genuine. If you ask him he just avoids an answer. I asked him several times if his custom UDEs were legit (knowing full well they weren't) and he always responded but never actually answered the question.

Something not right about him. I wouldn't be surprised if this was a sock account for someone having a laugh. I mean look at his dark blurry sideways pictures. Take the picture at night time in a dark room holding a busted £5 throw away camera sideways and its still going to look better.

Hello again. Ive been lurking for a while but this thread is just bizarre. I must comment. Maybe there should be a list. I know there's the dodgy dealers section but perhaps this merits a complete mad bastards list?
