Anyone going to Memorabilia this November?

The christmas one is normally really good!

Shame the summer one is so poor but I guess people go on holiday etc..

I will be the sad wanker walking around with his mum! How cute am I?

I'm going on the Saturday too.

I have to take my mum with me so she can buy LOTR trash and get dragged behind me.....she's only 5ft2 and i am easily 6ft2.

She's a good old girl though, pays for tickets and makes sarnies as I drive! Nice one!

Spoons - great idea!

The november one is usually the best one.

If jayjedi hasn't bought your sandcrawler any chance of taking it along? I'll be going Saturday too

It is a really good day out, I normally get there for the 11am opening.

I have been going for years as I live in Birmingham.

I would recommend getting your tickets in advance as there can be a queue sometimes.

Gotta say though, this is the first Memo I'm going to that I'm not looking forward to

Crappy guest list - only interested in getting 4 autographs. Also the airport security crap could cause problems going home depending on what can be taken on the plane as hand luggage. If I happen to buy a vintage RG on card, I don't fancy having to put that in the hold as you just know every bit of luggage is gonna end up on top of it.

And the guy I go with - he usually buys loads. Seen him take 4 bags and a boxed Falcon on as hand luggage once
:(

I got the impression that most stuff was more expensive at the last one, but in hindsight there was a sealed wampa going for Ã'£20, and the toptoys carded figures were also less than you can find on ebay. I guess it just depends.

If you want loose figure army builders for Ã'£1 each its the place to go 8)

Prices are usually pretty good.

It pays to look around and haggle.

Take as much as you can, would be my advice.
