Hi All

I know its a question thats been asked a million times but I have been looking at some really nice carded figures lately, most with yellow bubbles.

How many of you carded figure collectors are put off by this?

How many feel that by paying more now for a clear bubble will only find one day they will turn yellow?

Cheers Daz

I would never buy a card with a yellow bubble no matter how rare the piece was or how desperate I was to get one.

Once they start to go yellow they'll just get worse over the years.

It is a shame though, I have just watched a fantastic mint carded Jawa go on Ebay with a yellow bubble, I usually stay clear but I can see them all going yellow one day.

the way they look doesnt bother me so much, its the fact they go really brittle and crack/break easily.

With my POTF set Yellow bubbles didn't bother me.

If there's piece i'm going for now and I feel i have a choice I will go for a clear.

No fortunately.

I only collect palitoy now and they don't seem prone to yellowing. Though I have a couple that were yellow when I bought them.

Does anyone know if the AFA Archived casing actually works to stop the bubble yellowing? The casing looks identical to regular.
None of mine have turned yellow yet, just wondered if anyone else's had.
I have a few of my better pieces archived and none have yellowed yet.I would hate for my Boba Fett to have a yellow bubble one day.

i dont think it has anything to do with light personally, more likely humidity.

i had a rotj han hoth that went yellow over a period of about 2 years. it was kept in a box so cant have anything to do with light.
