Firstly, no I don't have that kinda spare money either, I'm just curious.

The question popped into my head this morning; If you had £1000 given to you to buy a Vintage Star Wars masterpiece/holy grail item for your collection what would it be?
The limit is £1000.

What would you buy?

i wouldnt buy a grail item i would buy a full set of figures (not last 17) and a load of complete mint vehicles.

this would have to be on par with having plenty of shelf space for it all too though.

For me it would have to be any movie prop. I love movie props!!

Either that or a vintage piece of pre production Yoda like a test shot or engineering pilot if you could get any for £1000.

1000 Klaatu's so I could have the biggest Klaatu army in the world

Or something from Luke from ROTJ linked to the LJ figure 8)

Well it wouldn't be Darth Vader's autograph that's for sure.

A MIMB Falcon or Slave I in total pristine condition

Then £500 worth of vintage items to be raffled on SWFUK and proceeds to a nominated charity voted for on here

Ticks all the boxes for me

I'd probably complete all the runs I'm outstanding like the 12", the ships, etc etc all loose.

Probably about £1000 away from doing it.

Id actually like a full set of those Helix Pencil cases and if there is any money left over an R2-D2 Pop Up Light saber, but as we all know finding a totally original one of those even if you have the cash is a pain in the arse

A loose r2 pop up saber and blue snag to complete my loose run and ESB MOC Fett, Vader and power droid to complete my ESB run.

If my SS is feeling generous......just saying.

A MOC Klaatu off Bram
A minty droids Fett with a nice clear bubble or maybe one of those life sized Han carbonite slabs...

Great thread. I would say a MOC 21 back Boba Fett or a MOC VC Jawa. They would be beaters of course but they are both figures I can't ever see myself getting.
