Ouch. I wouldn't. That is very abrasive and will ruin the plastic.

I like how Bossk is in the photo for moral support.

"It's not me Doctor, it's my friend. He's a bit shy and he has a little personal problem..."

I would try the Magic eraser…

I've used them on yellowing stormy with good results…..never removed any paint either

Maybe just on the body…not the cape?….

Although even a light wipe over the cape would probably get rid.

Those sponges are amazing.

Tried the Magic eraser Sponge on my Mrs s advice, but it didn't work

I'll try the spot cream, but TBH if it doesn't work, I'll still get him a G Stick, he deserves that at least :D

Thanks for all the tips guys, much appreciated

Could try a small/tiny dab of white spirit on a small test area which isn't too visible too see if that works. humbrol thinners would also be worth a try.rinse off these chemicals with water.sometimes even blu tac or better still watchmakers rodico can pull the ink out or at least reduce it's appearance

These are just suggestions do with them as you wish.

A great trick for removing ink from plastics/vinyl/leather etc is to use ladies Hairspray! I have used it on many surfaces to great success. e.g. my daughters white mobile phone came into contact with leaking pen in her school blazer, hairspray on kitchen towel instantly lifted ink off, even old stubborn ink.

Am I the only one who is singing 'ink on my tusken' in my head to the tune of 'Tears on my Pillow'..... ?

Probably :)

Nope i also had a song that that crossed my mind when i read the title, but not the same song as you

I don't know what the song's named though

Edit: i found it, it thought of Guantanamera

I am not sure if you guys in the UK have this or anything similar but I have used this plenty of times on ink up boxes and works great

I know it worked well getting a ink stain out of the carpet. We got a so called professional carpet cleaning mob out and they had no luck. Gave the ink stain a good soak with this, bit of a rub and its gone

I've heard of the hairspray trick.

Do you guys have Goo Gone in the UK? I used it on a handful of my own childhood figures that had stains to varying success.

In any event, no love for the Bossk? That is in fantastic shape with virtually no paint wear. Not typical for him. Worth your expense all by himself. :)

Tried a couple of the suggestions, but got waylaid over the weekend
So will try again this weekend, see where it goes.

Yes the Bossk is fairly mint, can't go wrong at £ 2 really, they still have a Han bespin a Hoth stormy with a red leg! And a couple of other Esb figs, may pop back in go those but sadly no weapons.

Again thanks for all of the suggestions

Much appreciated

Mike :D
