Impressive pieces to be sure but I hate all that American 'TV' dealer bullshit. If you've got enough cash anyone can put together any collection, but what's the point? I'd much rather see a collection that means something to someone, that they've spent some time searching for and enjoying it along the way. If you bought all that all at once you'd be bored of it in a month.

And to put together a collection like that in three months just goes to show how common these pieces actually are. This collection will be sold to some millionaire knobhead for a large profit.

I am a negative bastard aren't I?

They are actually really cool pieces!

Some super rare items, but I wasn't actually wowed by any of it, not sure why, it felt very impersonal and totally focused on grade rather than actual content.
No question I'd love at least one of those items in my collection, but just because they're expensive or uncommon they don't all make me drool or dream really.

That is a great set and certainly some gem pieces there... however.. as quoted above money can buy you what you want... they probably paid over the odds for a few bits 'just to have it'.

TBH Gary's Palitoy collection still puts this to shame as do a few other guys out there.

It's not even 'just to have it' these guys are dealers putting it together for a sale. So the whole lot will go to some millionaire noob looking to pick up an instant collection.

^^This^^ (SAVORY100)

There's some nice Mocs there and I like the Boba Fetts but it seems they've just put all the most expensive and perceived sought after cards together for the sake of it. A lot of them I could take or leave to be honest regardless of the value. I'd rather look at my 65bk Stormtrooper in my cabinet than that Trilogo Madine, it's a **** figure anyway. Vinyl Jawas are cool! It's just a bit souless and show-offy

Pornography is the correct word indeed. I assume that Toltoys ESB VCJ is the rarest thing there?

Shaun Neinast is a legend - this thread has most of his past misdemeanours listed, but to be fair I've not heard of any recent issues. A lot of the past issues are fairly vague and mostly with a lot of he old time US collectors but clearly he's on the shady side.

Blimey, that name is a blast from the past. He was a huge talking point on RS back in the early days... thought he had found a new life on Mars.... which a fair few people had hoped for.

I am trying to see if the serial number from the ESB TT VCJ MOC AFA 40 sold a few months ago is the same one from this video. Can't really get a good shot from the original video. What's the chance of 2 AFA 40 ESB TT VCJ appearing within 6 months!!

Meh. I think I prefer a somewhat battered loose collection with charm, history and character to this sterile, AFA cased stuff.

I watched it with sound off. Whats the deal? Is it a single collection he is selling off individually or is it for sale as a single 'collection'?

Also, is KFC near me open?
