Forum Figure of the Year 2017 - 1st Round - Group I

Group I has a couple of figures who really should have performed better over the years. Squid Head has twice made the second round but never gone any further, for a figure so well sculpted it's extremely disappointing. Ackbar has never gotten out the first round, neither has Wicket or the Rancor Keeper and not surprisingly Sy Snootles. The only other to have reached the second round on two occasions is Lando Skiff. Big opportunity for this group figures.

Lando Skiff, Squidhead and Ackbar.

Lando looked cool with his helmet on.
Squidhead was a bit bizarre.
Ackbar was a tough admiral with Popeye arms.
Had to vote for him, could have been a trap

Squid Head - Brilliant sculpt, great cape, skirt and belt combo as well as a figure specific blaster - wonderful, Kenner at its peak
Lando (Skiff) - Brilliant sculpt again and who doesn't love the best removable helmet in the line???
Admiral Ackbar - Let down by his pokey stick but another great sculpt.

Tough, tough round for a Jedi figure fan!

Lando - good accessories
Squid - cool looking figure
Wicket - another figure that sticks in the mind from younger

Lando Skiff - helmet was great and I'm sure could go on multiple figures well
The rest .....

Wicket - possibly the best Ewok
Squid - cool belt and cape. Not fussed on the rest of it

admiral ackbar-just a great likeness and fun to look at

Squid Head is a great figure, awesome sculpt and with cool accessories

Squid head and Lando Skiff- both great sculpts the new releases were arguably at their peak here.
Admiral Ackbar- first Jedi figure - good head sculpt, I was the first kid at my school to get this one in the post, exciting times they were

rather straight forward group, the two who progress are the only two who've previously progressed beyond the 1st round from the group. Comfortable group victory for Lando Skiff, whilst Squid Head progresses into the knockouts.
