Hi guys I got a fantastic gift today from a friend. This are a holy grail for me. I got 8 danish fan club magazines, the 3 of them is so rare so I have only heard about them but never seen them before today and I do not know about any others who have one. So they are extremly rare.

A friend of mine found them in his basement, but he had a flood in his basement so they got damaged with water. They are dry now but there is now some bad damage of mold I think. I am not sure if it is mold or if it just dirt. But I think it is mold.

Do any of you know how to remove this or do I need a professional to remove it ?

Here is the pictures of the 3 of them it get a lot worse inside them :(

Not sure what to use to clean them, just be careful as you don't damage them anymore.

Great pickup though 8)

I'd leave them be.
Failing that a gentle dusting off with a cotton wool ball or a micro fibre cloth is all I'd risk doing.
Hopefully the pages aren't stuck together (ahem).

But is it not dangerous to leave them be ? I have heard you can get sick with mold on books ? :?
I have heard you need to have a mask on and gloves when you read them

I will try to dust them, thanks

No the pages are not stuck together :D

I just read into it a little and it is fine to brush off the excess mold.
Put some wax between under the page as you do so as not to damage the next page.

Then, now this is your decision, damp a cloth with hydrogen peroxide or denatured alcohol and wipe the page.
Its a risk.

how come jeff bridges is on one cover? i suppose it was promoting starman

Yes jeff bridges is on one of the covers because there is something in the magazine about starman or jeff bridges I think it is an interview with jeff bridges or a review of starman. I can look at it when I get home from work later today
