Unusual Tie Fighter Pilot COO Error??

Hey everyone, I was just looking at my loose beater tie fighter pilot and noticed something odd...
On the front of his right leg you can clearly see the made in Hong kong coo stamp. Its been partially buffed away but it's still visible. I'm guessing it was stamped on the wrong side then buffed off when someone realised.
Just wondered if anyone else had noticed this or had one like this in their collection???

I've tried to get some good photos but it's pretty tricky...
