MOLD ON FIGURE

Hi. I'm brand new to the world of Kenner 12 back collecting. I have come across some AFA graded items for sale that mention "mold on figure". I'm wondering how much this affects the value of the item. I'm also wondering whether this mold would get any worse over time, even though sealed in an AFA container? Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Cheers.
