Palitoy Box Stickers?

Postby Dublinjeff » Sun Mar 12, 2017 10:04 pm

Just wondering if anyone has ever seen these type of stickers on a Palitoy box before..? Look like shop 'stock' stickers?
Notice that the larger "Barcoded" sticker has the same ID number as the one on the side....TR7845...Appreciate any thoughts... :D

Catalogue stock most likely. The sticker at the end of the box is often found on various Palitoy items, I've seen them on Slave 1's and 12" Fett's. All different codes.

The large barcode sticker is not one I've seen before but that will probably be another catalogue sticker - not sure you would not see those on a shop retail item.

Looks like Argos stickers to me, were they around in the early 80s?
Looking for Palitoy 12 back Jawa and Empire carded Dengar and Leia Hoth. Damaged cards or reseals OK.
Also any non-toy vintage British items esp. store displays, advertising & promotional items, and cast & crew or prop items.

Pretty sure that's Freemans; just about everything Mum ever bought came from there and I seem to remember seeing a lot of these stickers on bags of clothes, shoe boxes etc.

Yep....catalog stickers. Sears and JC Penny's over here in the states did the same thing. Ugly stickers BTW. Easily removed with Goo-Gone.
