Luke endor silver belt buckle

Postby Itchycoo » Sun Apr 16, 2017 3:13 pm

Hi can anyone help the Luke endor in the pic has a silver belt buckle and side pocket I have 3 of these and this is the only with this and I can't find another. Jus wondering if it is a custom paint job or a factory error, the silver colour is the same as the imperial gunners belt buckle, strange

Looks like someone has painted it themselves as the pouch on Luke's bet has been painted as well.

If they've painted it they masked and sprayed it because the paint on that buckle is super thin and has partially worn away. I couldn't tell you, off hand, whether any of the ones I've seen are painted or not. I'm well observant, me.

Yep, painted by a keen kid back in the day. I've found many hand painted bits and bobs in childhood collections. With airfix, model kits, and lead miniatures, etc being popular with kids back then you found a few chose to embellish their SW toys too. If you want to clean it off then a little dab of white spirit will do the trick.
