I'm can't remember what the exact use of the book was, but it's possible this would be taken to the teacher to write a word you couldn't spell so you could then copy it into what ever story you were writing.

As you can see, there was a theme to some of my infant stories. :D

No wonder I always spell Millenium wrong.

Love this, I'm **** at spelling but my Star Wars spelling seems to be better in general. Great find by the way.

That is the teachers hand writing not my own. Hence the purple dog which is all my own work. :D

There is also some of my later work on the front cover.

Lol brilliant, I love stuff like this :D it's like a snapshot of your mind at that time saved on paper, filled with Star Wars even from way back then.

I actually something similar in a school sketch book from when I was about 5 or 6, i'll hopefully find it today and share it.

Love this sort of thing. As has been said, a snapshot of our childhoods.

The randomness of the words is hilarious, especially the "Get lost" and "Fat git" on the cover

What a great thread - love stuff like this.
Well here's my offering. A story book from primary School.

Reckon that says something like Chewbacca shoots.

Then its Luke (Look!) and a Stormtrooper. I like how I drew a yellow saber so I'm guessing I had the figure.

My favourite one and can you tell I'm excited - getting a Han Solo gun with secret button that makes a noise when you press it.

R2 and 3PO with a space creature - pretty sure going by the colour its snaggletooth

Here's my contribution, think I was about 6 when I did this in my school 'busy book'. Darth Vader looks like a blob of **** with slug arms  and then a drawing of a space battle with the Falcon, and then interestingly enough iv'e done a drawing exactly copying the style of the Star Wars arcade game in vector graphics, from the view of the X-Wing cockpit flying down the Death Star trench haha, exploding tie fighters and even scores on the top of the page...
