Never been there but judging from their ebay store they don't have much available for sale. :?

Could be a different story in the actual shop though..?

Shop interior photos look promising, but the website is copyright 2015, so you never know... fingers crossed for you...

This is a great little shop, little being the operative word. I've been there a couple of times and even bought a few loose, complete figures and a couple of comics from there. Can't remember the guy's name but he's a nice bloke and prices are negotiable. I'd have been half a dozen times but his opening times are very limited so be aware. I think Saturdays may even be "appointment only", really can't remember. Anyway, give him a bell to be sure he'll be about as he does do some trade fairs.

In terms of vintage SW he doesn't have a great deal. There was a reasonable boxes AT-AT there (talking 12 months ago) but that (still) wasn't for sale and there had been a 12" boxed Denys Fisher C-3PO at a very reasonable £70 which I kicked myself for not buying when I went back the next time and had gone. He had a fair selection of loose complete figures (nothing amazing) but there was definitely some repro weaponry with some. He's open to that and doesn't mind you swapping weapons (as I did ) if you ask. He said he doesn't add them just puts them with what comes and leaves it to the buyer's to decide. I guess if SW isn't your main area that's not unreasonable.

Anyway, enjoy. It's a really nice little shop with some great vintage toys.

Not much SW last time I went in (2 months ago). Ive bought a few bits off him previously but he's generally got a wide range of vintage toys and not particularly specialist in SW at all.

Interesting little shop but don't get your hopes up too much.

When I started my collection off this was one of the first places I bought from as it's relatively local, bought 4 or 5 figures off him and he knocked a few quid off without me even asking, small but well worth a visit.

Well I went up there today.

Lovely oldy worldy town, lots of independent shops and a nice antiques market on at the top of high street. My dads bought a really nice house in a place 5 miles down the road called waterhouses.

Visited the collectables shop, cool place! He had about 20 loose figures not too badly priced either, complete Vader £12. No carded figures or boxed stuff, he had a slave 1 which I'm after but it wasn't complete. Also a nice original imperial shuttle hanging from the ceiling but that was £200

I didn't realise how big the imperial shuttle is!?

Anyway, run by a nice bloke and well worth a visit if you are in the area.

How white was the shuttle? I'm after a white one for my nice box and inserts and to replace my bromine brown shuttle!

Haha my home town, find your own source of vintage bargains ya %&£$ers!!

Joking apart I pop in every few weeks, his supply of vintage star wars have dried up massively now everyone knows they are with millions of pounds.

Next time your in town, give me a shout as we have plenty of good watering holes :)

Are there any places that have vintage in Ashbourne?

My dad reckons there's a lot of antiques and collectibles places there

Not that I know of, however Leek and the surrounding area is full of antique and charity shops.
