Advice on Death Star Droid

Postby x-wingMark » Sun Oct 29, 2017 12:08 pm

Hi guys,

Just bought this DSD droid and want to display the usual way but as the bubble is sliced off partly at the bottom the figure falls down. Looking for some ideas and what to do for displaying him.

1) Does anyone have an old damaged original bubble that I could put over or partly over the bottom to stop him falling out?

2) I could put a bit of cardboard in to stop him falling out but doesn't look great.

Anyone had this problem in the past with a cut bubble?

Thanks,
Mark

If you put him in a GW acrylic case and stand the figure on another piece of clear perspex, that might work.

I think using part of another bubble would be better, I'm sure you could find a knackered one that you could salvage. Then just use some small bits of sellotape to attach it to the main bubble. It would look much better IMO.

I think that would be my preference too mate. Just need to keep an eye out for a original bubble I suppose.

Thanks

You took the words right out of my mouth.

Also as is mentioned a section of old bubble doctored onto it could be a good idea too.
