Found some vintage MOC in Tokyo.
It was great to see the Takara and Tsukuda together.
Prices were surprisingly good - Nien being 7000 yen or £50 in real money.

What a freaking cool shop, I could spend all day in there.

Are those modern QR code shop stickers on all the MOC's?

These ones below I took a couple of years ago.
Its from Star Case.
It's a shop dedicated to only Star Wars.
Sellers can hire a glass case to sell their stuff for a fee.

The last lot of photos are taken from there.

The first lot from a shopping centre called Nakano Broadway.
The second from shops in Akihabara and Ueno.

The shops are Robot Robot, Toy Yamashiroya, and Mandrake is the first.

They are I'm afraid.
I have bought there before and the stickers do come off easily, but nonetheless would prefer them not to put the stickers on at all.

They obviously have some kind of a passion to trade vintage SW, you'd think they would use separate price tags on the shelves next to the MOC's.

Maybe they could be using acid free labels, in which case like you say if they come off easily then that wouldn't be a problem really.

Fantastic photos and shop, but I share sub's concerns about those stickers
I was in Mandarake a few weeks ago, I bought a cloud car pilot on an Esb card, stickers come off fine. I'll put a pic up, when I'm back in the UK. I recognised the Mandarake shelf, some food bits there

Did I just read that comment "rent a glass case to sell things in their shop for a fee" ?

What an interesting and really cool idea, iv'e never heard of a shop doing that before.

This quite common in antique shops in this country, often in the large ones.

Quite common in collectors shops in Tokyo.
There's usually four sometimes five cases in a stack.
They vary in price according to the best viewing position.
For example, a case at the bottom would be the cheapest and one at about chest height would be more expensive to rent.

That's how most antique and flea markets work here. The sellers are rarely in the shops but someone mans the fornt desk and sells on their behalf.

Yeah I've watched the antiques road trip and the person in the shop often has to phone up the owner of the item to ask for the best price.
