Hoth Wampa:

wampa.jpg

The only beast I had when I was a kid in the good old 80s  I bought it from my neighbor, he was a few years older than me and was to old to play with him  unfortunately I ****ed up in the early 00 and put most of my star wars toy together with all my other star wars items that I had bought from collectors or ebay so I am not sure about if my childhood wampa is between the ones I have or I have sold it

ok here is my little wampa collection.

2 boxes and 3 wampa, 1 wampa still need a box :D

Great Wampas, Lars! :)

I always thought Kenner dropped the ball with the Wampa. It doesn't look anywhere near scary enough! I know it's a kids toy, but the face sculpt they gave the Wampa simply makes him look confused and bewildered, not frightening and dangerous!

Anyway, here's mine:

Thanks. Yes it is a clean one. I'm not sure how much it's been played with by its previous owners, but it was obviously well looked after :)

And here's a regular Kenner to make the set? Are there any more, Ledy perhaps?

Isn't there an elusive black Wampa made by Lili Ledy?

Here's mine.

It's a yellow Wampa, but the box is fairly mint and I still have the cardboard insert.
COO (c) Lucasfilm 1981 Made in Hong Kong
It still has a good arm 'action'. The legs seem to be a different grade of plastic and haven't yellowed as much (not really visible in the photo).

Not sure where I purchased it (I might have sent away for it to a catalogue store based on the sticker).

Not sure if they constantly improved or updated the Wampa - are there mould or figure variants (apart from the Black one  ).
