fixing my ancient R2D2

Hi Everyone.

I decided to dismantle my first R2D2 and wondered if anyone has any pointers?

The motor is good and connections look Ok and the internal player amazingly looks like a mini vinyl record and needle that vibrates on a piece of plastic to make the sound which was Princess Leia when it worked.

I've attached a few photos. Didn't want to drill through the stuck screw to take the body apart before asking if any one know whats underneath.

Try this mate, but avoid the advice on whitening your R2, it's only temporary and likely to cause damage.
