I'm not sure why as I think R2 and C3PO are great.
I think that it maybe the price that these two fetch now!
Looking forward to seeing what everyone has.
That's in lovely condition, Lars. As you know, I don't collect Droids figures, so I can't help you with this thread, but I do hope some other forum members can add photos of their R2'sPomse2001 said:Here is the one I have

They would cost a lot to buy these days!
Fantastic stuff Ian, with both the loose R2 and your beautiful MOC!Palifan said:Found my loose one
It's not mint and I display him with a regular pop up lightsaber as the one he came with was a little chewed and missing part of the handle. Still, for £50 he'll do!

Palifan said:Here's my Driods R2 moc. This was the second one I bought as I had an AFA 85 one originally to go along with my 85 Droids C-3PO but this one came up which was in the same condition but had a less yellowed bubble. I had a spare AFA case that I'd cracked open to put this one in so that the cases would match with the C-3PO and the grade didn't worry me although I think this would still grade at 85.
As with most of these Droids R2/3PO's getting them with a clear bubble is very difficult and not something I normally have in my collection (although the Glasslite ones seem to fair better), but this was the best I could find at the time. I also have a loose one put away somewhere and I'll post it up if I can find it
