R2D2 restoration question.

I am thinking about putting my discoloured R2D2 legs through the hydrogen peroxide treatment. However, I wanted to ask others first if they have done this and if there is any effect on the blue stripes. I don't want to fade the blue, which is actually quite ok for a Solid Dome figure.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Watch this video, might do the trick

Never tried it myself.

Don't do it would be my advice. If they don't go a pinkish white and you manage to get them closer to their original colour, it probably won't last and you'll help to degrade the plastic further and faster in the long term.

Exactly that, not recommended at all.

Why not buy a beater R2-D2 with a ripped off sticker, but decent legs for £2, and then swap the legs over? It would be cheaper than buying hydrogen peroxide, will look better and remain 100% vintage.
