hey guys

just sold my coins on ebay, well most of them. anyway, a guy who bought three has just e-mailed me saying he's not sure whether they are 100% genuine vintage and is going to take them to a specialist!!!!!!

what should i do.

he also said one of them was damaged which i did know, so have kindly offered to refund him for that one. can any of you look at the pictures in my collections bit and have a look. as far as i know they were real.

he bought amanaman, warok and romba!!

also how do i know he's not just trying to rip me of by trying to get a refund. his 'specialist' could be a yoda jedi master in his garden who can tell real from fake!!!!

any help would be great.

why would anyone bother making fakes, dont the potf figure coins only sell for about Ã'£5?

i never understood repro weapons either really to be honest, is it worth the hassle when you can pay Ã'£2 for the real thing?

I'm no coin expert and I don't have an Amanaman coin but I do have a Warok coin and a Romba coin and they look the same as yours and my Warok coin is still attached to the card.

If it was me I'd be a bit wary, it sounds like he is trying his luck. Wait and see what his "expert" says, then tell him you've had a few experts (that'll be us 8) ) look at them and we think they are real.

Like Edd says who the hell is gonna bother making a fake potf coin?

Agree with the rest of the lads, he's trying a fast one but if he does come back to say theyre fake then ask for proof!!!

He'll soon back off.

Depending on how much money we are talking I would consider asking for them all back and give him a complete refund to see if he changes his mind.

As for a specialist, unless he sends them to AFA for grading who else can decide unless he knows another coin collector? :?

I'd agree with the above and would do the same.
If you get them back you could send them to the AFA for grading yourself if they are mint.
