Need help identifying 2 blasters

Postby StarWarsFan » Sun May 21, 2017 12:22 pm

Hi guys I have picked up 2 blasters today but not 100% sure if real or not they both pass the float test but never seen a stormtrooper blaster so blue and the Lando general/Luke Speeder know there are a lot of fakes out there.

You'll need pictures that are focused better, try using something a couple of inches high to rest your phone on and then put the weapon on the side, you should then be able to get a good, sharp focus with no camera shake

The black Palace Blaster is deffo repro - it's missing the raised bump by the barrel identified by TIG

All of the known original imperial blasters have a textured pattern on the handle. Lack of detail indicates reproduction.

I would say they are suspect also sorry bud. The imperial blaster looks very blue to me and also has from what I can see no pattern on the pistol grip.

Also with the palace plaster nothing looks very defined and no raised bump as already mentioned. I have a couple of luke Jedi plasters and they are extremely well defined details. Also been looking looking for one of these to complete my luke battle poncho so I feel your pain.

I can see the bump when the gun points to the left but not when it points to the right. Should be both sides. Could be your photos though. Good you got some money off.
