Darth Vader, COO reference guide:

Master_zpsvbgppmvx.jpeg

I, decided to help Jeff. So here is one of many guides. I had 2 Darth Vader figures when I was a kid and I would have loved to have more of him. I loved that figure and I remember when opening a moc in 80s the vader had a fantastic smell :D

If anyone has any other variants to add, please feel free to update the reference guide. All help appreciated.

Darth Vader can be found on many cards, more update about that later

Before I learned about variants I thought there was only one COO variant of this figure

The force is strong with this one, he's extremely powerful 8)

A number of different COO variants available:

Made In Taiwan
No Coo
Taiwan
Japan
Made In Hong Kong
Hong Kong

Hong Kong figure:

I found a vader in a danish childhood collection and as always I compared it with my other vader figures. I had one with the same coo but as many others they were not the same figure. To my big surprise I noticed something on my old figure that I used to compare with the new one. I must have had it for many years because years ago I began to write down where I have my figures from and I have no info about where I have this one from. But could this one be a POCH vader that I have had in my collection for years without knowing it :?

The head is rough molded with small spots all over the head and a big scar in the back of the head. There is a little melt mark at the back and
the neck have a crack. So does all this make it a POCH :?

Accessories for Hong Kong Figure:

Black Vinyl Cape with zipping sound on one side of the cape. If the figure is a POCH then I can't confirm if this is a POCH cape.
But to me it looks 100% the same cape as the cape on the figure I found in the Danish lot with the same coo.

Hong Kong figure:

Here is the one that I found in the danish childhood collection. But this one have a nice head or should I say a more normal head
There is no crack in the neck and no melt mark. The belt is also different, the 12 dots on the belt is much larger than on the other figure.
