Luke Skywalker X-Wing Pilot Figure, COO Reference Guide:


Following on from a little find today, I have a nice variant selection of Luke X-Wing Figure. I will document the most common coo again. I am only missing the Large Hong Kong COO figure. Hopefully add that soon.

First appearing on the 20 back Star Wars card


Comes with a few COO variants:

Large and Small Hong Kong COO
Raised Bar China COO
Blank Raised Bar
Euro/PBP Scarred out figure

Small Hong Kong COO figures:

I will start off with the Small Hong Kong COO figures I picked up. 4 figures, a couple of different COO markings. There is a noticeable variant concerning the face sculpt on this figure (Shown below) Also a couple of differences in body sculpt and finishes.


Face sculpt:
Two very different face sculpts as can be seen here. Figure in front has a completely different head sculpt and a much lighter paint application. I have found three paint application colours so far, Pale face, Orange and Flesh face.

Leg markings:

Here are the four Small Hong Kong COO leg markings I have at the moment. Couple of variants. (Comparison shot with Wolffs guide further below in the thread)


Flesh Face/Orange Face:

Three of the figures i picked up today have similar face sculpts, however, there are two different face paint applications.


Can be seen here, Orange Face paint application in the middle:

Pale face, Hong Kong COO figure:

As stated above the Hong Kong COO figure has two different face sculpts. Here's a comparison shot of the two


Very different paint application on the two variants:


One major sculpt difference I noticed between the two is on the lower part of the chest plate. The Pale face figure, shown below on the right, has a much softer sculpt compared to the other three figures.

There is also a noticeable difference between a couple of the figures. As can be seen here the figure comes with Shiny finish and a dull finish to the boots.


This also applies to the body finish on the figure. One of the Hong Kong figures has a much duller colour to it which is very noticeable in hand. Shown below in the middle:

Raised Bar, No COO figure:

Picked up one of these in the selection of figures. Comes with a Blank Bar. There are a few variants of this figure available.

Raised Bar China COO figure:

Picked up four of these figures. Comes with a Raised Bar with China COO. Again, there are a number of variants for this figure.

Head Sculpts:
All four figures have the same sculpt. No major variants

Accessories:

Luke X-Wing Figure came with a Smuggler blaster.

If possible I will also document a Scarred out figure, however, they are quite expensive and not a common variant.

Helmet Design:


I found two different colours. Light Red, almost Orange and Dark Red.

Fantastic work you have done in this thread jeff, I can't wait to the next update. Damn there was a lot I did not know about luke X-Wing :shock:
