Tauntaun variations?

Postby smiler289 » Thu Dec 08, 2016 4:16 pm

Hi! Recently I acquired three tauntaun. 2 solid belly and one open. I was aware of there being dark and light brown horn variations but one of mine has very dark brown and almost grey horns. I can only assume that time and exposure have been a factor and they have changed colour. It also came with painted nails, nostrils, mouth and ears which must have been done by a previous owner. Interestingly the feet have different letters on them when you compare all three tauntaun.

The letters are just mould identifiers- you will see it on many vintage Star Wars items.
