I recently purchased an ev9d9 off ebay for £20 and theres a few black paint marks on the body, the paint looks a bit like airfax model paint.

i need some help removing this, is it just a straight forward cotton bud dipped in white spirit job?

any ideas?
help please folks
cheers!

just seen a site advising the use of a freezer bag, oven cleaner and leaving it over night...then a toothbrush and washing up liquid.

well...

paint stripper (nitromors) is ok on bendy plastic such as limbs IF YOU ARE QUICK

BUT it will melt torso plastic on contact as it is ABS plastic and will turn to gloop

i try to pick it off with my finger nail gently before trying anything else

A quick way to remove paint is to pour petrol on it and throw a lit match at it.

Cheers.

oven cleaner worked a treat!

took ALL of the enamel paint off but has obviously faded the colour of the figure.
