CE II Sneak Peak [show is over, everyone can look now :)]

I was able to sneak into the exhibition hall today. :shock: :lol: Thought I'd share some pics.

Already met interesting persons today, someone I know from Facebook, not active on any forums, nice and kind person and the artists Matt Busch and Lin Zy. Since there were no other visitors today I was able to chat with them for a few minutes, they are real nice and besides from being great artists they are also a beautiful couple.

Guys, I'm off to go to bed, but I'll have to show you one thing: Dave Filoni bought a cardback, maybe even more than just one, I don't know that for sure, from mr_palitoy tonight. How fantastic is that? He is a true collector same as we are, awesome. Take a look at the proof here, I have cut out Cc4rhu and mr_palitoy as I don't know if they feel comfortable with it, if they allow I can share the complete picture:


Holding the cardbacks is Dave and in the front right you can see Jez's Palitoy shuttle box, which he hopefully was able to sell later on.

Other than that I have met pretty much everyone today and it was a great pleasure to meet all of them:
frunkstar, mr_palitoy, Jez, Dark Sith Lord, sith-smith, Maulster79, Capetown, Cc4rhu, Stargeezer, wbobafett, James Gallo and some guys from TIG, I'm a member there, but don't post very frequently there, so I'm afraid I didn't catch their names, if they are members here too and they remember meeting me, maybe they can let me know. Anyhow, it was really exciting to catch up with everyone, I also got some of their badges, Stargeezer was so kind to give his 3 day pass to my wife because he won't be going tomorrow and my wife wanted to (her back hurts now, so don't know where this is going yet, but we'll see).

I ran into Cc4rhu today just for a quick chat when I was rushing out from the exhibition hall, didn't see anybody else today from the forum, but I was "hiding" in the Celebration Stage hall all day, that could have been the problem. Cc4rhu informed me that everybody else was already gone, which is a shame as I had hoped to see everybody again today. I still had planned to take a group photo of all together. :-/ Maybe next time in Anaheim.

Hey guys, just travelling back. Would love to see the full uncropped picture on here. I had no idea who he was! And yes, that was an wan 30b boba fett card back I had on sale for 50 euros.

Great, would live to see the full photo. He bought some palitoy card backs, not sure which ones, but I have a list of all the ones I sold that night.

Of course they were, well remembered.

Looking at the list they were a 41A and 45B palitoy AT-AT Driver cardbacks.

This is weird. I didn't really know that any of you were at CEII. I must admit I stayed away from the forums during July on purpose to save some credits for Celebration Europe

I participated in a panel (International Fandom with Gerald Home) and organised the Trivia Contest with TeeKay-421, the Belgian Star Wars fanclub, on Sunday (which had one and a half vintage question).

I also visited the 'black market' swap meet on Saturday and met Dave Filoni briefly after he had left the hall with the vendors. One of the backs he bought was of the AT-AT Driver.
