I'm going to start an event:

MASSIVE PROFIT MAKING STAR WARS SHOW WITH STAR WARS STUFF AND STAR WARS THINGSATHON*
*not connected to Star Wars in any way

Not going to wash in any court when Disney come knocking.

They just repeated it on BBC news. Looks good to be fair, but I still wouldn't go to something run by Action Force Toys after his performance on here. Will be interested to see if Disney have anything to say about this :)

Had a chat with Andy a while back and Disney already know about it and he has been in consultation with them. They had to change the wording of the event but other than that they were OK with it. Not my cup of tea though. Seeing events like this and comic con etc I realise I am more of a toy collector than a fanboy despite my love of Star Wars. I'm not one for autographs and dressing up.

Ha ha true :D :D .

I think the way Dave Prowse conducts himself and asks £20 an autograph puts me right off. Give me a £20 loose figure any day!

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-35014620 Here's the BBC report. Considering they're saying 20000 tickets were sold it looks bloody empty to me. The Beeb may have had early access though tbf.

Am I the only one who gives zero fucks about this?

Have an event or don't. I really don't care.

Has anyone here actually been to this?

Having read the posts in this thread it sounds like one to avoid but if anyone has actually been it would be good to get a first hand report

I went to this today. Some bits were good, some bits were utter shite (they had an Ewok Village which was so crap it was comical).

It was pretty busy to be fair so that meant A LOT of queuing. They had VIP tickets to supposedly jump the queues but loads of people had them so you just ended up in a queue anyway. The VIP 'meal' was a meat pie with some mushy peas served in a tent. :?

There are a lot of people kicking off about it on the Facebook page. I was with a little one who really enjoyed it so that's all that matters to me to be honest. I also met the guy who played Biggs Darklighter who was awesome and there was a girl dressed as Oola (the real Oola was there too) who was pretty damn hot! :D

Can't be arsed to search the thread but didn't he throw his toys out of the pram and call us all house husbands who watched stars wars on loop in between wanking over porn. At least he kept his word and never returned.

I wouldn't attend this out of principle. But even before I knew it was him I decided to pass, it looked so amateur for the size of the event.

Still Sounds like he made a shed load of cash out this, just hope people got their money's worth.

Wonder what the Beeb would make of the legendary thread.
i see your schwartz is as big as mine
